It’s designed as the ideal first step towards the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Residential Child & Family Support, replacing the generic Skills for Care: Care Certificate, which many in the RFC sector find doesn’t reflect the realities of their work.
You will cover four units consisting of videos, text, and tasks:
- What Residential Family Centres are and understanding your role as a Support Worker
- Communication in the context of RFCs
- Safeguarding in the context of RFCs
- Health and safety in the context of RFCs
